We’re developing centres of operational excellence to help us innovate and optimise our sustainable food production.

By using Lean principles, we will continuously improve in key areas, including minimising waste, water usage and pollution throughout our production.

Our commitment to sustainable food production is focused on several key areas:

Environment and climate change impact

Net zero is the single biggest concern for us all. Our climate goals are built around a commitment to Science Based Targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with 1.5°C pathways, and towards reaching net zero.

Natural resources

Our centres of excellence will drive efficiencies in our processes that preserve and reuse natural resources wherever possible.

Water scarcity

We work hard inside the business and with the right partners and stakeholders to protect water resources

Waste generation

We have committed to the United Nations Sustainable Goal for Responsible Production and Consumption with only 0.1% of production classified as food waste.

Circular economy

We’re committed to a process that aims to design waste out of our production processes.

Promoting biodiversity

We recognise the need to work with farm partners and across the supply chain to improve biodiversity on farms and the local environment.
