We are delighted to announce that Pilgrim’s Food Masters, part of Pilgrim’s Europe, was recently awarded the Gold Award from RoSPA – the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. In a rigorous process, Pilgrim’s Food Masters was awarded RoSPA’s highest accolade for health and safety achievements.

Adam Taylor, Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Risk, said: “Winning a Gold Award shows our commitment both to our people and Safety as a Condition. This award is recognition of the dedication shown by all our operations and team members to not only work safely, but to continually improve our standards and environments – ensuring we all go home safe.”

The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards is an internationally-recognised process for demonstrating continuous improvement in health and safety management techniques. Gold Award winners are those organisations that have achieved a very high level of performance, well-developed occupational health and safety management systems, outstanding controls of risk, and very low levels of error, harm and loss.

Adam added: “I also want to thank my wider team and the everyone in the business for supporting us and helping us go the extra mile – this award is down to everyone’s hard work, and I look forward to seeing the innovative ways we will “Go for Zero” across all our operations, ready for the 2024 awards as Pilgrim’s Europe!”
