Top spot in taste test ranking

Pilgrim’s UK is once again being recognised by judges and has taken top spot in Delicious Magazine rankings for the best pork sausage thanks to our Waitrose No.1 Free Range Lincolnshire Pork Sausages.

Judges were impressed by their coarse texture, visible herbs and distinctive notes of sage. Available from Waitrose (£4.50 for 400g), the sausages are popular with customers and experts alike.

Described as a top crowd-pleaser the sausages beat stiff competition from across the board. Judges were looking for juicy links with a satisfying bite, true pork flavour and well-judged seasoning – testing outdoor-bred or free-range pork sausages only.

This award is especially important because it comes from a leading magazine within our industry. Testing was conducted blind and without packaging – which shows why our sausages speak for themselves.
