£300 with fun BBQ

The BQP team helped raise over £300 for their local Scout Group thanks to the efforts of everyone last week at a team BBQ.

Chris Carmen Jones, Business Information Manager, runs the local Scout group, and wanted to raise some money for the group and raise some awareness. Chris explained: “A BBQ is something everyone can get involved with and have fun whilst raising some much-needed funds. I want to thank everyone that donated and helped on the day.”

Jakki Parker, Supply Chain Coordinator, helped support the event. The BQP team supplied all the meat which included Lamb burgers, pork burgers, pork sausages and bacon which all came from our Bury site.

Jane Dawes, HR Business Partner, added: “Great day and even better weather. A huge thank you to our Bury site for donating the meat and everyone who joined and supported the event.”
