Q Awards 2022

We are pleased to announce the business has been shortlisted for three awards in the up-and-coming Q awards. The products include Aldi Ashfields Grill Red Masala Pork Kebabs, Waitrose Mexican Inspired Pork King Kebab and Waitrose No. 1 Farmhouse Sausage.

We have been working hard with our customers to produce new and innovative products which reflect the changing tastes of the nation and drive new shoppers to the category.”

The winners will be announced throughout the week of 7 November through a series virtual awards presentations. The awards celebrate the many great achievements within the industry and are seen as the industry gold standard.

Sam added: “I also want to thank Bromborough site for working hard to produce the Red Masala Pork Kebabs and Linton site for producing the Waitrose Mexican Inspired Pork King Kebab and Waitrose No. 1 Farmhouse Sausage . The sites have been working relentlessly to meet demand and they also deserve recognition with this shortlist – best of luck to our teams in the final, hoping for a winner or two – or even all three.”

The Quality Food Awards are now in their 43rd year and have become renowned in the food sector as one of the most prestigious awards to win in the industry today. Products from every sector are judged according to a long established ten point judging criteria, covering all aspects of the product from aroma, flavour, texture, value for money, ingredients, and above all else, taste.
